Yard Duty

Library Volunteer Schedule Coordinator
Chairs: Mary Speiser
Identifies and schedules volunteers to staff the library. (ongoing)

Library Shift Volunteer
Chairs: Mary Speiser
Working a library shift (usually during your child’s scheduled library time or a lunch shift). Help check in and out books, shelve books, help students locate books, and perform shelf care. Each shift ~ 1.25 hours, every other week (1-2 people per shift). (ongoing)

Fine Arts Show

Design and construct a display of all students’ art in the Multi for May Open House, working under the direction of Barbara Cottrell, Artist-in-Residence. (spring)

Room Parent Volunteers and Grade Level Coordinators
Chairs: Neela Gentile & Jody Buckley
Room Parent Volunteers work with classroom teachers to recruit parent volunteers and manage class room volunteer opportunities, parties, and field trips throughout the year. Room parents also maintain regular communication with parents for each class. There are ideally 3 room parents and 1 lead room parent for each class. Grade Level Coordinators help to recruit room parents in August and support them throughout the year. hey also plan one grade-level family event and the end of year field day activities.
